The Colbert County EMA Weather Spotter Page is dedicated to the enhancement of training of Severe Weather Spotting.  The CCEMA endeavors to provide continued education to the various EMA Volunteers, volunteer fire service, ammeter radio operators as well as civilians who are interested in learning more about severe weather spotting and coordination.  Please note that the information and links to related topics found at this site are intended to supplement the training received through various "certified" or certificate courses offered through the Colbert County EMA.  If you have not received such training, the CCEMA encourages you to contact your local Emergency Management office, Civil Defense Office or local chapter of the American Red Cross, and inquire as to the availability of  Weather Spotter classes and training.
